Nadchodzi “Legion”

Legionowski zespół koszykarski, znany od lat w regionie, wchodzi w nową erę pod nazwą RJ House Legion Legionowo. Ta zmiana to wynik podpisania umowy sponsorskiej z firmą RJ House, która, obok Urzędu Miasta, wesprze drużynę w dążeniu do sportowych sukcesów. Do podpisania umowy doszło w zeszły czwartek, 25 lipca 2024r., a jej głównym celem jest awans drużyny na zaplecze koszykarskiej ekstraklasy.

RJ House Legion Legionowo to klub z bogatą historią, działający już od 20 lat. W ciągu tych dwóch dekad klub rozwijał młodzież i dorosłych zawodników, z sukcesami rywalizując na poziomie I i II ligi PLK. Dzięki wykwalifikowanej kadrze trenerskiej, najmłodsi adepci koszykówki mogą liczyć na rozwój fizyczny i sportowy na najwyższym poziomie. Klub prowadzi grupy młodzieżowe w rozgrywkach organizowanych przez WOZKOSZ, od minikoszykówki (U10) po młodzików (U15).

• „10 lat temu ten klub to była 3 liga, garstka dzieci i marzenia. W minionym sezonie ten sam klub to już: 2 liga PZKOSZ, 3 Liga WOZKOSZ oraz 5 grup młodzieżowych - w sumie około 100 dzieciaków” – wspomina prezes klubu Tomasz Matysiak.

Nowa umowa sponsorska z RJ House to kolejny krok w rozwoju klubu, który ma na celu podniesienie poziomu profesjonalizmu sportowego i organizacyjnego. Jak podkreślił prezes Matysiak, wsparcie finansowe, które do tej pory klub otrzymywał od Urzędu Miasta Legionowo, umożliwiło rozwinięcie skrzydeł i zbudowanie solidnych fundamentów pod przyszłe sukcesy. Teraz, dzięki nowemu partnerowi, przed drużyną otwierają się nowe horyzonty, a głównym celem na nadchodzący sezon jest walka o awans do zaplecza ekstraklasy.

• „Dzisiaj otwierają się przed nami nowe horyzonty i stają przed nami zupełnie nowe cele sportowe - najważniejszy to awans na zaplecze ekstraklasy. A o ten awans będziemy w tym sezonie walczyli jako RJ House Legion Legionowo” – dodaje Matysiak.

Współpraca z RJ House to szansa na dalszy rozwój klubu, który od lat kształtuje młode talenty i buduje silną drużynę, gotową na nowe wyzwania i sukcesy.

RJ House Legion Legionowo – A New Chapter in Legionowo Basketball History

The Legionowo basketball team, long known in the region, is entering a new era under the name RJ House Legion Legionowo. This change is the result of a sponsorship agreement signed with RJ House, which, alongside the City Hall, will support the team in its pursuit of sporting success. The agreement was signed last Thursday, July 25, 2024, and its main goal is to secure the team's promotion to the top tier of Polish basketball.

RJ House Legion Legionowo is a club with a rich history, having operated for 20 years. Over these two decades, the club has developed both youth and adult players, successfully competing in the 1st and 2nd divisions of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). Thanks to a highly qualified coaching staff, the youngest basketball players can expect top-level physical and athletic development. The club runs youth teams in competitions organized by WOZKOSZ, from mini basketball (U10) to youth categories (U15).

"Ten years ago, this club was in the 3rd division, with a handful of kids and dreams. Last season, that same club was already in the 2nd division of PZKOSZ, the 3rd division of WOZKOSZ, and had five youth groups – totaling about 100 kids," recalls club president Tomasz Matysiak.

The new sponsorship agreement with RJ House is another step in the club's development, aiming to elevate the level of athletic and organizational professionalism. As President Matysiak emphasized, the financial support the club has received from the City Hall of Legionowo so far has enabled it to spread its wings and build a solid foundation for future success. Now, with the new partner, new horizons are opening up for the team, with the main goal for the upcoming season being to fight for promotion to the top tier of Polish basketball.

"Today, new horizons are opening up for us, and new sporting goals are ahead of us – the most important being promotion to the top tier of Polish basketball. And we will fight for that promotion this season as RJ House Legion Legionowo," adds Matysiak.

The partnership with RJ House is an opportunity for further growth for the club, which has been nurturing young talents and building a strong team, ready for new challenges and successes.
